Deepen your curriculum and Vulcan skills for higher education

The purpose of the one-week training workshop is to work with Professors and Assistant Professors to ensure a smooth integration of Vulcan into their curriculum and provide Vulcan training for the needs of the higher education professionals.

Registration deadline: December 19, 2019

Workshop dates: January 6-10, 2020

Preliminary Agenda:

 

  • Day 1: Vulcan interface overview and break out session to discuss curriculum development
  • Day 2: Geologic & Block Modelling
  • Days 3-5: Higher level training on basic case studies to showcase options and provide obtainable classroom examples (topics to be confirmed according to interest)
  • Day 5: Review and wrap up session to finalize curriculum
